'captain howdy'. an excellent & fresh 3-piece rock/pop covers act, coming fully equipped and ready to provide an interactive, friendly and professional level of performance to suit any establishment.

formed in 2004, their energetic and passionate performance style combined with a solid musical ability saw the band quickly progress from the London pub circuit, to London wide clubs and later on to the nationwide club circuit.

as a 3-piece band, 'captain howdy' are a kick ass 'rock and roll' band who pride themselves on putting on a full-on stage show! as a 3-piece, the band find that the format allows greater connection with the audience and more personality to come through both sonically and visually.

fronted by band leader 'mags', the line up consists of vocals, electric guitar, drum and bass, however captain howdy 'unplugged' is the acoustic alternative to the electric band. More suited to low volume and more intimate venues, this line up features acoustic guitars rather than electric.

the aim of 'unplugged' is to provide as versatile a band as possible that is enjoyable for a wide age range and can be made mellow enough for background music and exciting enough to be the centre of a party.
