With it's roots based firmly amongst the early Blues musicians such as Robert Johnson, John Lee Hooker, Blind Lemon Jefferson, and many others, The Blues Brothers built on that great foundation with original re-workings of Soul, Motown and R&B classics. When the Blues Brothers burst onto the scene in the early 80's they not only produced an amazing film but they also left a lasting legacy: To keep real music alive.
